Our story
West Coast Steiner School was officially established in 1995 by a group of parents with a shared belief in the Steiner philosophy, who were passionate about their children experiencing a truly holistic education. The school has flourished over the past thirty years and is now an independent, co-educational, non-denominational school offering a complete and authentic Steiner education. West Coast Steiner School is a fully accredited and registered educational institution and is a proud member of Steiner Education Australia (SEA) and the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia (AISWA).

A life of learning
Our philosophy is all about helping our students to develop a lifelong love of learning. This life of learning will assist our students in becoming creative, free thinkers who are socially responsible and purposeful.
We believe that it is imperative that education directly touches the hearts of children, to help them develop love for those around them, to reassure them that there is beauty and goodness in the world, and that they play a role in preserving that beauty and goodness.
